The Remote station by BARTEC is a PC display with keyboard and mouse, for the zone 1 of the explosion hazardous area. It is connected as a second operator console to a PC work station or a UNIX terminal in the safe area. This connection is made by means of electronic components joined to each other via an STP cable that may be as long as 300 m.
The housing of the Remote station is outstanding by it is slim design, as it is only 150 mm deep and light. It is available as table-, wall- or floor mounting type. A stainless steel version completes the product range.
The Remote station is a TFT display, the 15" variation with XGA-resolution (1024 x 768 pixel) the 18.1" variation with SXGA-resolution (1280 x 1024 pixel), an excellent brilliance and a great viewing angle.
The display and the corresponding electronic are explosion protected thanks to an flame-proof enclosure. The MFII keyboard with it’s PS/2 finger mouse (optional with trackball) are intrinsically safe, the barriers are located in the flame-proof enclosure.
